About Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring ingredient that our bodies produce and with increased aging the process decreases and our body stops producing it. The True Radiance Hyaluronic Acid Serum contains 70% HA! Hyaluronic acid assists with joint health, eye tissue and the visual system, the cardiovascular system and it promotes healthy skin texture, moisturizing and making our skin to appear youthful. Hyaluronic acid greatly decreases wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid assists with moisture retention and has exceptional lubricating properties as it plumps the skin up helping to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. When applied to the skin it acts as a hydrator. HA holds up to 1000 times its weight in water and that’s why it works so well on our skin.

Directions for multiple uses:

• There are many ways to use this HYALURONIC ACID. Since the HA content of the serum is 70%, if you add the serum to your moisturizer at a 1:10 ratio, you’ll have a cream with a 7% HA content. Most products have 1/2-1% HA in them, so at 7% you will notice the difference. And, combining the HA Serum with your moisturizer eliminates a step in your regiment.
• You can use HA as a daily, weekly or monthly facial: Use an exfoliate or facial scrub, apply Hyaluronic acid and let it absorb. Next use hot compresses for 5-20 minutes and then moisturize. You will notice plumping of your skin, reduction of fine lines, and a generally smoother, younger looking face.
• You can use on your lips: Apply HA and wait till absorbed, then apply some type of moisturizer (I use chapstick or lip balm). Your lips will feel full and plump. I apply lipstick after. You can use lipstick instead of lip balm but it’s not as hydrating as the balm. You can use the HA on your hands, elbows, feet or any areas that need hydration. Always apply a moisturizer after the hyaluronic acid unless you’ve already combined the two.
• Hyaluronic acid is very safe on skin, not like other acids which burn or peel your skin. This can actually be used after peels and with sunburns to rehydrate the skin. You can apply it below the eyes, however due to the hydrating and plumping factor, the skin directly under the eyes may puff so you might want to dilute it or stay out of the eye socket.
